Norman C. Allin

Norman C. Allin C.S.C., born in 1926 in Thorne, England, embarked on his cinematic journey by joining the Film Producers Guild at Merton Park Studios in 1942. After a decade there, he ventured to Canada in 1952 and began his work at Crawley Films. Eight years later, Allin joined the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), where he remained on staff, contributing to numerous productions over the years. His extensive portfolio includes serving as Director of Photography and operator for the Canadian feature "The Reincarnate." At CBC, Allin was involved in various shows like "Hatch's Mill," the "Anthology" series, and notably, he served as Director of Photography for "Whiteoaks of Jalna." Apart from his career in cinematography, he pursued his passion for art, transforming it into a second career.
